Talk The Wight is catching up with Cllr Ian Ward to talk about Sandown. Ian Ward is the IW Councillor for Sandown South. He was first elected to the IW Council in May 2005 and subsequently re-elected in June 2009, May 2013, May 2017 and May 2021. Ian is also a member of Sandown Town Council and a former mayor of the town. We are opening the Mic’s and comments for you to put forward your questions to Ian around Sandown the early days of tourism through to today including the derelict hotels etc, as he sits in the hot seat for 60 minutes.
